Commissioning of Omadino Model Technical College

Today, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR, the Olu of Warri, graciously welcomed His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, as well as other distinguished guests as His Excellency commissioned the Omadino Model Technical College in Omadino, Warri South Local Government Area, thereby officially inaugurating the institution.

This milestone event underscores the strong partnership between the State Government and the Warri Kingdom in advancing education and infrastructure within the region. His Majesty lauded the governor for the timely completion of the college as it stands as a flagship investment in technical and vocational education, equipped with modern classrooms, workshops, laboratories, hostels, staff quarters, and other essential facilities designed to produce skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and wealth creators. By focusing on practical, industry-relevant skills, this institution will combat youth unemployment and foster self-reliance.

His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III further used the occasion to advocate for sustained infrastructural development in Itsekiri riverine communities, receiving a positive response from the Governor. Once again, we commend the Delta State Government for this transformative project and urge the host community and all stakeholders to safeguard these facilities while maximising their potential for the benefit of our youth and the kingdom at large.
