Over the preceding days, His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, was in the Republic of Sierra Leone for a series of diplomatic, leadership, and cultural engagements. His Majesty held strategic meetings with His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio, Her Excellency the First Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, the Vice President, and other distinguished national leaders. He also participated in the 2nd Julius Maada Bio Leadership Colloquium, where he delivered a keynote address and later joined a panel discussion alongside notable African and global leaders, including former President of Malawi, Dr. Joyce Banda, and the former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, the Right Honourable Baroness Patricia Scotland. Beyond the colloquium, His Majesty immersed himself in the rich history and cultural heritage of Sierra Leone through visits to the National Museum, the Peace Museum, and the historic Leicester Peak.
