With grateful hearts, the Warri Kingdom gathered today in thanksgiving, bringing to a fitting close ten days of festivities celebrating the 5th Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty Ogiamẹ Atuwatsé III, CFR, the Olu of Warri.

It was a moment of true reflection and unbridled gratitude as sons and daughters of Iwẹrẹ, as well as guests who had come to commemorate the anniversary with the Kingdom, gave thanks for five years of His Majesty’s reign and for the blessings, progress, unity and renewed sense of purpose witnessed across the Kingdom.

Today’s Thanksgiving was more than the conclusion of a ten-day celebration; it was an expression of faith and appreciation for the journey so far. From the rich display of our culture and heritage to the gathering of communities, families, Itsẹkiris in the diaspora who had heeded the Global Homecoming call, and friends of the Kingdom, the anniversary celebrations offered a powerful reminder of the strength of a people united by history, identity and a shared vision for the future.

In giving thanks, the Kingdom also looks ahead with hope, trusting in God’s continued guidance and blessings upon His Majesty, the Royal Family and the entire Warri Kingdom.

As the curtains draw on the 5th Coronation Anniversary, the spirit of these ten days will remain with us as a renewed affirmation of who we are and the future we seek to build. With gratitude for the past, confidence in the present and hope for the years ahead, Warri Kingdom looks forward to the continuing journey under the wise and purposeful leadership of His Majesty Ogiamẹ Atuwatsé III.

May the years ahead bring greater unity, prosperity, peace and progress to the Kingdom, and may the legacy of this reign continue to inspire generations yet unborn.
