A reflection by Her Majesty Olorì Atuwatsé III.
His Majesty Ogiamẹ Atuwatsé III and I had the pleasure of visiting the Noor Royal Museum in Dubai, where we were graciously received by its founder, Sheikhah Somayeh Noor.
Walking through the museum was a deeply enriching experience. The collection offers a thoughtful reflection of the UAE’s heritage and the importance of preserving the stories, traditions and values that give a people a sense of identity and continuity.
Our conversation extended beyond the museum to shared interests in real sector development, multisectoral investment, and the role of women in shaping sustainable socioeconomic growth.
I was particularly encouraged by our shared conviction that women must be recognised not only as participants in economic development, but as important drivers of innovation, enterprise and prosperity.
